About our Grand Rapids Capabilities 

Our Grand Rapids facility is the go-to local source for new pallets. Using our strict quality control measures, our new products showcase our attention to detail by providing you with a durable, high-quality product, consistently. New pallets are perfect for businesses that ship products that need top-of-the-line protection and/or custom specifications.  

We also offer a selection of used pallets with our reconditioned or remanufactured products. By repairing pallets, we can provide a lower-cost option that performs similarly to new ones. Our remanufactured pallets are built using new and high-quality used material harvested from other products. Our Grand Rapids plant has a wide assortment of new and used materials that allow us to sell these pallets in custom sizes. Because remanufactured pallets are built from new and used materials, their price is significantly less than new pallets.  

Once pallets have reached the end of their life cycle, our Grand Rapids location has a robust Wood Resource team that will grind the pallets on-site. This grinding process will then create sustainable byproducts. These byproducts include animal bedding, playground safety surface material, and color-enhanced mulch. We also partner with local cogeneration facilities to take additional “end of life” pallets, not suitable for our grinding process, and turn them into biofuel. Biofuel is a sustainable source of green energy.

Because of these robust capabilities, we can recycle pallets of all shapes and sizes in Grand Rapids. Depending on the type and quality of the pallets, Kamps may buy your used inventory at a competitive price. Specialty wooden pallets that hold no market value may be recycled for a fee or free of charge.
