GRAND RAPIDS, MI —March 8, 2024 — Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, named Matt Klein, Kamps Sales Consultant, as one of the winners of this year’s Pros to Know award, which recognizes outstanding professionals whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders looking to leverage supply chain for competitive advantage. This recognition is for the Rising Stars category. The category highlights young or newer professionals (39 and under) whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the supply chain network. As a Sales Consultant in the Central region, Klein works with all five of Kamps’ integrated business units to successfully execute and participate in projects that achieve this mission. Kamps’ Central region includes Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennesse. From single-site local customers to Fortune 500 organizations with a global presence, he has been able to influence, add value, and aid in the optimization of these supply chains. Klein’s knowledge and experience with our Wood Pellets business unit (Easy Heat) allows him to look at projects with a unique perspective on sustainability and help other divisions integrate a sustainable, and profitable, outlet for their wood waste.

As Kamps continues to grow into the future, Klein is looking to expand his reach in regards to national supply chain programs and add more responsibilities to his role. In 2023, Kamps introduced an innovative approach to pallet management called “Comprehensive Pallet Life-Cycle Management” which provides a single source of pallet services to all supply chains.
